At one point, I had to start drinking heavily. I wanted to scratch my eyes out or maybe the characters’. But this was not WTF in an absurd, adorable way. After all, WTFery is simply the absurd taken to new heights of, well, of absurdity. If I was not a fan of WTFery, I would not have enjoyed afternoon soap operas for most of my teen years. I was told that there was a high level of WTFery but I ignored this warning. I was intrigued by the fact that the book was apparently once a Twilight fan fiction piece entitled Master of the Universe and featured a BDSM relationship between the main protagonists. So I’m pretty much in the minority when it comes to this book as I hated it.įifty Shades of Grey came to my attention during a Twitter conversation.
